This multi-platform access ensures that users can enjoy Tubi’s content anytime and anywhere.
Though it may not feature the latest releases or exclusively original content that some other platforms offer, Tubi fills a unique space in the streaming landscape. Its extensive library of free content, supported by advertising, makes it an appealing choice for budget-conscious viewers or those looking to supplement their existing subscription services.
Why do you need a Reliable VPN to Access Tubi TV from Australia?
Tubi TV is a popular streaming service that offers a vast library of films and television series, completely free of charge. However, it’s primarily designed to cater to audiences in the United States, which is why certain content restrictions may apply to viewers from other parts of the world, including Australia. This is where the concept of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) comes into play. A VPN is a powerful tool that can mask your actual geographic location by rerouting your internet connection through a server in a different country. In essence, it tricks the streaming service into believing that you’re accessing it from a different place, thereby bypassing geographical restrictions or “geo-blocks.”
In the case of Tubi TV, viewers in Australia might find it necessary to use a VPN to gain full access to the service’s U.S. content library. By connecting to a U.S.-based server through a VPN, they can virtually “relocate” themselves to the United States, at least in the eyes of Tubi’s servers. This discrepancy between what’s available in different regions arises from the various licensing agreements Tubi TV has with content producers. Due to these contracts, Tubi TV can only show certain films and series in specific countries. Since the U.S. is its primary market, the content library is usually more comprehensive there compared to other regions.
However, it’s essential to note that while using a VPN to circumvent geographic restrictions isn’t typically illegal, it might violate the terms of service of the streaming platform. It’s also crucial to remember that not all VPNs are created equal. Some might not effectively bypass geo-blocks, while others might compromise the speed and quality of your streaming experience. It’s always recommended to do your research and choose a reliable VPN service.
How to access Tubi TV from Australia Using Express VPN
Accessing Tubi TV from Australia using ExpressVPN involves a series of steps that ensure your device appears as though it’s browsing from a location within Tubi TV’s service area. This process is called “geo-spoofing,” and it allows you to bypass regional restrictions by masking your device’s actual location with an IP address from a different location.
Here are the steps you can follow to access Tubi TV from Australia using ExpressVPN:
-Subscription to Express VPN:
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to subscribe to ExpressVPN. There are various subscription plans available, including monthly and yearly options, to cater to different needs and budgets.
This is precisely the time when Express VPN comes to shine. It changes your IP address to a region within your chosen server location. Now, because Tubi TV restricts you through your IP address, it would come in handy making it unable to do that.
That’s 15 months for the price of 12. A single subscription simultaneously supports five devices and has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you decide to get Express VPN, not only that you’ll be able to access Tubi TV but also American Netflix content and American Amazon Prime content etc as well.
-Download and Install ExpressVPN:
Once you’ve subscribed, you’ll need to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your device. This application is available on various platforms, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and certain smart TVs.
-Connect to a U.S Server:
Launch the Express VPN application and sign in with your credentials. Once you’re in, you’ll need to connect to a server located in a region where Tubi TV is accessible. As of my last training data, Tubi TV was available in the United States, so selecting a U.S. server would be suitable.
-Sign up for Tubi TV:
If you haven’t yet registered for a Tubi TV account, you should do so now. Visit the Tubi TV website and follow the instructions for creating a new account. Ensure your VPN is connected to a suitable server during this process.
-Enjoy Tubi TV:
Once you’re signed up and signed in, you should be able to browse and watch Tubi TV’s content library as though you were located within the service area.
A few important notes to remember:
Streaming services often update their systems to prevent VPNs from bypassing geo-restrictions. It’s possible that some VPN servers might not work, even if they did previously. If you encounter this issue, try connecting to a different server or contact ExpressVPN’s customer service for assistance.
Using a VPN to access content from outside your geographical location is not illegal, but it does violate the terms of service of many streaming platforms, including potentially Tubi TV.
The quality of your internet connection can impact the performance of your VPN and streaming service. If your connection is slow or unstable, you may experience buffering or lower video quality.
