Anna Kendrick assists Justin Timberlake in reuniting his brother’s band in the ‘Trolls Band Together’ trailer
The upcoming ‘Trolls’ movie, featuring a new song by ‘N Sync, is scheduled for release in theaters on November 17, 2023.
The newly released trailer for ‘Trolls Band Together showcases a unique family reunion filled with rainbow-colored characters. Additionally, the trailer debuts ‘N Sync’s first song in 20 years, titled “Better Place,” set to release on September 29.
In the latest installment of the Trolls franchise, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake reprise their roles as Queen Poppy and Branch, who are now a confirmed couple. As their relationship deepens, Poppy discovers a hidden chapter in Branch’s past: he was once part of her favorite boy band, BroZone, alongside his four brothers – Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), and Clay (Kid Cudi). The band disbanded when Branch was a baby, and he hasn’t seen his brothers since.
In the footage, Branch’s older brother remarks, “Branch, we’ve grown apart. We’ve transitioned from boys to men, and now there’s only one path ahead – the one that takes us back to our roots, the streets we came from.”
However, when Floyd, who possesses exceptional musical talent, is abducted by the popstar villains Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells), Branch and Poppy embark on a quest to rescue him and reunite their brothers once more.
Poppy expresses in the trailer, “I understand you might see this as a risky endeavor, and it could be, but it’s a risk worth taking. Family is always worth it.”
The third installment is directed by Walt Dohrn and Tim Heitz, with Gina Shay serving as the producer.
The movie’s talented voice cast includes Camila Cabello as Viva, Zosia Mamet as Crimp, RuPaul as Miss Maxine, Zooey Deschanel as Bridget, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Gristle, Aino Jawo, and Caroline Hjelt as Satin and Chenille, Anderson. Paak as Prince D, Ron Funches as Cooper, Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond, and Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond.
