Raid on a Sonora Cartel safe house
Kate Macer and Reggie Wayne conduct a raid on a Sonora Cartel safe house in Chandler, Arizona, where they find hundreds of decaying corpses.
Two police officers die from a booby trap. After the raid, Kate joins a Joint Task Force led by CIA agent Matt Graver and Alejandro Gillick. They aim to capture Manuel Diaz.
Disrupt Diaz’s drug operations
The squad heads to Juarez and Mexico to extradite Guillermo Diaz’s brother.
Alejandro tortures Guillermo and learns the cartel smuggles cocaine through a tunnel near Nogales, Sonora. Matt tells Kate that the real aim is to disrupt Diaz’s drug operations.
Task Force raids Diaz’s money-laundering bank.
The task squad raids Diaz’s money launderer. After finding financial evidence, Reggie and Kate want to sue Diaz but are told to stop to protect the operation. Kate is introduced to Ted by Reggie at a pub.
