The Apollo Program team, which included American NASA test pilot Neil Armstrong, began their journey to the Moon by donning insulated suits.

Neil Armstrong crashed the X-15 rocket-powered spacecraft in 1961.

Karen, his daughter, who is two and a half years old, is receiving treatment for a brain tumour.
